Prasenjit Sharma - Founder
A childhood spent in the verdant tea estates of Assam, schooled in St. Joseph’s College, Nainital and later at the elite Assam Valley School and with a master’s degree in travel and tourism from Kerala’s premier institute, Prasenjit groomed himself to follow his dreams and founded his own adventure travel company
To gain experience, he started at the grassroots and worked himself up the ladder, the first rung of which was a luxury camping and hotel chain in the Himalayas. He has led heritage walking tours in Calcutta (now Kolkata), worked as a tour leader with a multi-national adventure travel company having the privilege to lead diverse groups across both India and Nepal. This also provided him with the opportunity to visit and work in Canada.
Never one to rest easy, Prasenjit wanted to combine his love of travel with his passion for motorcycles. This lead him to work as a road captain in the Ladakh valley for one of the best motorcycle tour companies in India. Through these companies, he has had the joy and privilege to work with some of the finest people and companies related to this amazing industry.
Wishing to draw people to the love of his life, the north-east of India and with the knowledge of his experience he started Six Degree Adventures. He wanted to help others explore the hidden wonders of this region. Through all these experiences, Prasenjit cherishes moments spent making new friends. These acquaintances have developed into fast friendships.

Rodin Rahman - Visual Storyteller
Born in Tezpur on 12 May 1985, Rodin Rahman is our Visual Storyteller known for his craft, discipline, and distinctive eye for human stories. Profoundly deaf since the age of one due to complications from meningitis that affected his cochlear nerves, Rodin’s journey has been shaped by resilience and an unwavering commitment to learning.
His speech therapy began at the age of four, and he started school soon after. While he found formal schooling challenging and left in Class 7, Rodin redirected his focus into skill-building, taking computer classes and exploring photography with an old camera gifted by his uncle. What began as curiosity soon became a calling.
In 2016, Rodin pursued professional training at The One School Goa, completing a three-year diploma in photography with excellent results. After returning home, he worked with Green Hub (an NGO) for four years, gaining extensive field experience and strengthening his documentary and narrative approach. He later joined McCain Foods for three years, serving as the sole photographer responsible for still imagery for their annual Star Chef program.
Alongside his professional roles, Rodin has built a strong portfolio through a wide range of freelance assignments. Among his most significant bodies of work is an ambitious portrait series featuring 25 major tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, slated to be showcased as a coffee-table book by the Times of India Group.
Now based in Guwahati, Rodin works as a freelance photographer, continuing to create thoughtful, people-centred imagery. Outside of work, he enjoys angling, cycling, and watching great films.
